Is there a way to make it use a pom.xml not located in the root?
Currently there is no way to specify a pom.xml directory outside of the source repository’s root. It will be interesting to see how prevalent this type of configuration is to help inform us how to prioritize customization. This is a long shot, but a work around could be to include a pom.xml in the root that has a “module” for your maven project:
<project> <modelVersion>4.0.0</modelVersion> <groupId>group</groupId> <artifactId>artifact</artifactId> <version>1.0.0</version> <packaging>pom</packaging> <modules> <module>path/to/root</module> </modules> </project>
Yeah, that is an obvious workaround, but would require doing it at a lot of repositories, which we had no intention doing before actually validating the usefulness of this tool Pretty much a Catch-22 situation here.
