# How to migrate Nexus from one server to another one

Hello everyone,  
I want to migrate Nexus (Server: Nexus/3.55.0-01 (OSS)) from one machine to another without losing any existing data.

The important directory is typically `sonatype-work`. In simple installations blobs are stored under `sonatype-work/nexus3/blobs` but this is something you’d need to know about your own installation.
