# Import maven artifacts to Sonatype Nexus Repository ManagerOSS 3.29.2-02

we are in the process of exporting maven repository artifacts to the new nexus server.

Old server has nexus running on Nexus Repository Manager OSS 2.13.0-01 and new server has nexus version has Sonatype Nexus Repository ManagerOSS 3.29.2-02.

we need complete steps how to import the maven artifacts to new server. Any help much appreciated.

Hey there, Udaybhasker. What I recommend is:

1. Upgrade both instances to newer versions, those are quite old and unsafe with vulnerabilities.
2. Follow the instructions in our guide

We are using nexus OSS and I don’t see any option of export and import. Is there any way to export the artifacts manually for this version.
