Hi
Recently we have moved our Nexus to the new server (3.15-02), the Old server is still functional and we have proxy repositories on new server pointed towards the old server, recently we have seen so many timeout errors while building the code, Is there is the way to debug it somehow why it takes so long for a component to download or why the access to the component was slow at particular time, can we increase the timeout value somewhere in Nexus so that build can wait for more.

I thought it is because of Memory configuration Nexus is getting unresponsive and hence a read time out , i found this while analyzing the physical memory usage as we have more than 200 GB of blob store size at some point so , i increased the physical RAM from 16 GB to 32 GB but still we are having the same issue and log says this , any ideas ?

That exception means that Nexus was trying to write a reply to the requesting client, but it could not because the client had already closed the connection.

You need to figure out what is closing the connection (it isn’t Nexus).

Hi Rich , Thanks for the reply , but i have two more questions:

1. Is something changed with Nexus 3 implementation wise which can increase the probability of such issues because we have not seen these issues when we were using Nexus 2
2. Can we enable some logging which can pinpoint us which client is or what is causing this because one pointer is, this not happening all the time and happens mainly with large packages.
