# Not able to push docker image in https

we are not able to push docker images in nexus repository. below steps are followed

1. create new repository in nexus with configure https port
2. generated self signed certificate in nexus directory /etc/ssl  
3.change password in jetty-https.xml file
3. generated public certificate in nexus server  
5.copied public certificate into docker machine  
still we are not able to push images into docker

nexus server also should run https port?
