# Read permission is not working for download the artifacts using wget

Hi Team,

am trying to download the artifacts from maven repo in nexus, and that repo is having read permission but is unable to download using wget , but when i add browse permission to that anonymous user then i can download it, for wget need a browse permission? read permission is not enough to download using wget?
