# Recover data from old nexus and sync it to the new nexus

Need some guidance on how to recover old data from old nexus and sync it to the new nexus. How do you do it? there is a database as well in this nexus. Let me know for guidance.

I believe you should follow the backup & restore documentation for the particular version of Nexus you’re using. [https://help.sonatype.com](https://help.sonatype.com)
