# Removing "Uploader's ip adress"

When uploading to a Maven repo it shows the ip adress of the uploader on the maven-metadata.xml. How do I disable that?

There is no way to disable this. Please vote on [NEXUS-20956](https://issues.sonatype.org/browse/NEXUS-20956) if you would like this to be implemented.
