Sonatype Lift Weekly Update: April 19, 2022

Happy Tuesday Sonatype Lift users. There were new teams created recently and most of the work done was discovery or design-related which isn’t included here. The teams have already started making substantial progress in delivering improvements to the product. Here’s the work done by the team over the last couple of weeks:

  • Removed duplicate data from Gradle output such that it only outputs a single fully expanded path per direct dependency, which would result in faster results and significant resource savings for projects.
  • Improved feedback functionality for Lift bot comments on Github - Users are now able to rate each Lift bot comment on Github as “Not relevant”, “won’t fix”, “Not critical, will fix”, “Critical, will fix”, “Critical, fixing now” by clicking on individual links. The link takes users to a page where they can add additional feedback.

Great job to all of the team for delivering these! Watch out for more updates over the upcoming weeks. If you have any questions or thoughts on any of these, please let us know.
