# Unable to get repomd.xml file in nexus 3

Hi,

I am using nexus 3.20.1-01, and trying to deploy the artifacts in Redhat linux server 7. But I am getting 503 error for accessing repomd.xml file during deployment. Below is the error. In nexus, I am not able to find repomd.xml file created in the repo. Could anyone please advice why I am not getting repomd.xml file generated.

[execute] http://_repolocation_\*/\*\*/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 503 - Service Unavailable

Can you share what’s the error logged in your `nexus.log` if any?

Have you got anonymous access enabled ?..of not , enable it and try again. I had a similar issue and that’s what the issue was.

503 is most likely from a reverse proxy server in front of the server.
