We are preparing to update our OSS Nexus Repository Manager 3 to v3.55.0. Once we do that, do we also need to update the version of Java 8 on the server, or does Nexus ship with it’s own JVM? This is on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8. It appears to be using a JVM on the server (observing the java start options when running /bin/systemctl status nexus.service).
