What does "reset password" actually do?

We’re using Nexus 2.14.16-01.
On the “Users” screen, when I right-click on a user it brings up “Reset password” and “Set password”. “Set password” simply asks for a new password and that works as expected. But when I click “Reset password”, there is no feedback to tell me what just happened and what needs to be done next. When I try to log in as that user, it doesn’t accept the old password or the default admin password, and neither does it ask to set a new password. So what password is it asking for? “Reset password” just seems to lock people out of their accounts with no way to log back in.

Reset password triggers an email to the user, however we will remove this functionality in a future update.
