How to create NEXUS mirror server

Hi,

I wanted to create a mirror server (like Prod and QA), which is running currently that is prod and we plan to create one more server called QA, this QA server should mirror the data from the prod server, so can you please advise how to do this

We are using Nexus Repository Manager 3.26.0-04, edition-OSS

Thanks & Regards,

Hi @manjunatha.ns!

It sounds like you are looking for a relatively simple setup where you can add a Proxy Repository in your QA Nexus instance where its remote URL is the address of the repository in your Prod Nexus instance that you would like to mirror.

You can learn more about the deployment patterns to achieve mirroring in our Technical Guides. Note that some features and patters are available to Nexus OSS users and some are only available to Nexus PRO customers.

If you are new to Nexus Repository, you may also find this Free Training Course beneficial, specifically, Lesson 3 - Repository Types

It may depend on the purpose of QA. Are you looking for a way to test Nexus Repository itself using a replica? Or are you trying to make content available to a QA team that’s in a different location than the Prod server?

Hi,

We wanted to create a replica of prod server , yes QA team and prod server are in different location

Thanks & Regards,

I just wanted to create a replica of the prod server and it should always sync with prod, can you please advise how it can be done?
