IQ Server Release - 132

What’s New in Release 132?

New Dependency Visualization
In release 132, Lifecycle is adding the NEW Dependency Visualization to the application analysis report and will include the following set of three features:

  1. Application Dependency tree - Dependency visualization (Tree) of components identified in the application analysis report.
  2. Component Dependency Tree - Dependency visualization of a single component in its Component Details Page.

New Created By field for waivers
With release 132, we are also adding a new field to display and store the information of the individual that created the waiver. This information will also be visible when viewing existing waivers. NOTE: this information will only be present for waivers created on or after release 132.

What is the Dependency Visualization?
This product feature intends to visualize the dependencies of components identified within an application report using a dependency tree. This is in addition to the dependency information (dependency type indicators Ds, Ts & IS) that we already have in the report.

What are some of its features?
InnerSource dependency info- The InnerSource components and their dependencies will be identified within the application dependency tree with “IS” tags.

Component Dependency Tree - We provide dependency visualization for a specific component, making it easier to understand its dependencies. This is very effective in the case of transitive dependencies. This tree view shows all the intermediate and direct parent components that are bringing the component within the application. Thus, delivering the best remediation path ie, the direct components to be upgraded.

Dynamic Search- Ability to search for components within the tree.

More Details- The tree structure shows additional details like InnerSource tags, the Highest level of threat with the ability to expand and collapse any branch within the tree.
