New to Nexus Repository Pro? Part 1

If you’re moving from Nexus Repository Community Edition to Pro, take it from us: now is the time to check the foundations of your deployment and plan for future success.

Take a look at these five resources – each less than three minutes.

  • Install your License: Installing your license is the first step in unlocking all the benefits of Pro.
  • Designate Support Contacts: As a paying customer, you’re entitled to Support. Make sure you can get it when you need it by designating support contacts.
  • Check Minimum System Requirements: Your Nexus Repository instance won’t perform if it’s not provisioned correctly. Ensure you meet these bare minimum requirements.
  • Make a Backup, then Upgrade and Migrate. Many of Pro’s most important features require newer versions and PostgreSQL as a database. Make a good backup, then take steps to upgrade and migrate.

If you’re feeling a little lost, here’s some guidance; the first two items in this list are super quick and should take most users less than five minutes each. Accomplish those, and you’re well on your way!

Stay tuned to this space, as we’ve got loads of meaningful advice to new Pro users on the way.
