nexus 3 (OSS 3.12.1-01) remove empty component

I have Nexus 3 and created Maven repository to hold snapshots. By mistake created component and need to delete it and i have other component when deleting it’s content still present and can’t delete it.

I tried to use API requests but it only replied back with the component which have values inside it but not the empty ones.

I think this issue is relevant here:

Presumably once it is implemented it will also be possible to do this via REST API.

Please vote for it and comment on it, that will help raise it’s priority.
