Nexus OSS 3.76.1 - Recalculate blob storage Question

Hello,
we’ve recently updated our Nexus OSS instance from 3.70 to 3.76 and performed the migration from OrientDB to H2.
One thing we’ve noticed, was that the blob storage display is showing us values way too low for what’s actually in place. Therefore I was looking for ways to correct that, and found the “Recalculate blob store storage” task under Tasks.

I have also read Recalculate Blob Store Storage Task Performance Testing.

I still have the following questions:

  • What impact does it have when the task can’t be interrupted? - will this conflict with any other task (e.g. backup task)?
  • What is the impact of a unplanned restart of the service? Can the job just be restarted afterwards? Will it start from the very beginning?
  • Will the job have any performance impact during its runtime?

Does anyone here have any experience with running the task?
