Is it possible to use nexus as a custom symbols server. I.e can i upload my library nupkg and snupkg and then have visual studio use nexus as the sysmbol server for my libraries? If it is how would I go about this. I cant see any documentation other than a repo containing a addon to proxy the microsoft symbols
There is a community contribution here for that: GitHub - sonatype-nexus-community/nexus-repository-microsoft-symbol-server
But I am not sure if it has hosted support, might just be for proxy repositories.
The community plugin doesn’t support hosted nuget packages. Are there any Sonatype plans for supporting symbol servers out of the box? I don’t see a workaround without changing the way Microsoft intented it to work…
EDIT: the plugin hasn’t been updated the last two years, so it isn’t a real good solution
