according to https://support.sonatype.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015110067-Using-User-Token-s-with-NPM it should be possible to use User-Token that contain uppercase usernames, however I have not found this to be working
When trying to login i get the following:
Username: (33U7wmRv)
npm WARN Name must be lowercase
Username: (33U7wmRv) npm ERR! code E401
npm ERR! Unable to authenticate, need: BASIC realm=“Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager”
