Hi,
We have a proxy repo on local site fetching artifacts on another site within our own organization.
The remote site will close down and I want to keep the repo on local site and need to convert into a hosted repo.
Is it possible and if so are there any issues or problems to be aware of?
We are running in RedHat env.
How about these steps?
- Put proxy repo out of service, and ssh to server and rename the repository folder under storage folder.
- Delete the proxy repo using Nexus Gui
- Create a new hosted repo and point to the new folder name of the old proxy repo
- reindex and build metadata
Is this a wayforward, or not recommended?
