Sonatype Lift Weekly Update: April 6, 2022

Happy Hump Day Sonatype Lift users! We wanted to share the work done by the Lift team over the last week:

  • Reduced timeout issues for users by increasing the time for timeout period for requests made to our servers.
  • Removed duplicate data from grade output, to show only a single fully expanded path per direct dependency. This consumes less resources than producing a full expanded dependency tree.
  • Changed Lift default configuration so that test directory is not scanned by default, to smoothen the onboarding process for users so that there’s less noise.
  • Reduced strictness of user configs on Lift, so that users can configure tools based on their requirements easily.

Great job to all of the team for delivering these! If you have any questions or thoughts on any of these, please let us know.
