Support for OpenJDK?

Hi.

Oracle Java 8 is approaching its end of life (January 2019), and the latest version of Repository Manager 3 still only supports Oracle Java 8.

What are the plans regarding support for OpenJDK?

We are currently testing OpenJDK, and once that process is done, we will be officially supporting certified OpenJDK Java 8 implementations. This will be completed before Oracle Java 8 reaches its EOL.

In the meantime, if you want to use OpenJDK 8 to run Nexus Repo now it is OK to do so. We now of no issues that prevent it from working.
