The official Nexus3.80.0 + version claims that there is a built-in task that can implement this function (Migrating User Tokens from LDAP to SAML), but there is no such built-in task in the UI page. What is the reason for this?

Hi, Hanson!

Are you on Community Edition? Integration with SAML requires Nexus Repository Pro; if you’re on Community Edition, you won’t see the task.

I think there is also confusion in the documentation - the task described was to address an issue caused by a Groovy script in the docs that modified user tokens to reference both realms which broke other aspects of Nexus.

Pro version

Hi we were discussing this internally. I was confused due to a similarly named task associated with an upgrade, there is another task which the docs are describing which can migrate from LDAP to SAML but appears to be hidden.

It should be possible to enable the task through a property, I’d suggest creating a support ticket
