Using the Nexus IQ CLI? Download the newest, native versions for Windows, Mac OSX and Linux

At Sonatype, we’re always looking for ways to improve the user experience when working with the Nexus Platform. Even the seemingly little things can have a big impact.

What is it?

We’re excited to announce improvements to the Nexus IQ Command Line Interface (CLI). You can now download a version of the CLI that is native to your operating system, removing the need to run Java. That’s right, no more JVM! (Of course, we still provide the JAR file as a download option and will always support Java).

Non-java shops, or anyone who prefers the native tooling, can download the CLI for Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux, and start scanning today.

Which operating systems are now supported?

We now provide native binaries for Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux, as well as the JAR file we have always provided.

What do I need to do to use the new CLI?

Check out our help documentation on using the Nexus IQ CLI, and visit the Download and Compatibility page to get the latest CLI version for your OS.

What release is this a part of?

The native binaries will be updated with each release of Nexus IQ and will be available on the download site.
