Utilizing rust Cargos with the Community Edition

Hello everyone!
I apologize in advance if I missed anything about this.

We are currently performing a migration over from pre-Community Edition of Nexus Repository. Running Nexus Repository 3.78.1, we tried creating both a proxy and a hosted Cargo repository. What we are missing at this point is the token.

The documentation here leads over to the user token help documentation - which, however, is still reserved for the pro version. I have no option to enable token management with the Community Edition. Am I missing something in this context?

Hi,

At the moment you can also use your username and password base64 encoded as suggested for the user tokens, or you’d need to enable anonymous access to the repository.

thank you for the info. Apparently I missed that bit of information about the base64 in between the UI documentation. I will test it and, if necessary, follow up in this thread. Thank you!
