Warnings maven-metadata.xml

I upgraded nexus from 3.69.0 to 3.70.3 and switched to the H2 database following the steps on the Nexus websites.
I am getting a lot of warnings in the log with the information:

WARN  [qtp1510662161-5912] XXXX org.sonatype.nexus.repository.view.handlers.ExceptionHandler - Invalid content: GET /xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx/maven-metadata.xml: org.sonatype.nexu
s.repository.InvalidContentException: Metadata at path /xxx/xxx/xxx/xxx/maven-metadata.xml is not a valid maven-metadata.xml

Does anyone know how to fix these warnings?

[/xxx/xxx/… is a fake path so as not to put my path]

Hi, David. There could be a few reasons you’re seeing this warning. If you’re a customer, have a support contact raise a ticket with our Support team.

If not, here are two things to try:

turn off strict content validation for the affected repositories to remove the warning. Then download the maven-metadata.xml and manually confirm whether or not it’s valid.
delete the maven-metadata.xml file through API or the UI, then run a task to repair the .xml.
