How to upload a file to nexus repository from Jenkinspipeline, The Project is not a maven repository

I am new here and trying to upload one single file to nexus from Jenkinsfile (Jenkins pipeline) . The nexus artifacts uploader plugin is not maintained. So I am looking for options.
