What requests count against the "Requests Per Day" Usage Limit?

How is the request count determined – is everything that is requested counted? Even POST related to status (POST /service/extdirect/poll/rapture_State_get)?

We had 25,366 request in the last 24 hours for which the response was 401 Unauthorized – did those count against our usage limit?

If I want to look more closely at the relevant requests, should I be looking at front-end Web server logs? DB logs?

Short answer is: any HTTP interaction directed to a /repository/* endpoint counts as a request. That includes 401s.
