We are moving some of our blob stores to another file-system and therefore added a blob migration task. I started this task before the weekend and it finished sometime early Saturday.
We have cleanups running every night (cleanup unused assets, delete temp files, compact store – in that order). Today I noticed that the ‘old’ store is NOT empty, both according to the Nexus UI and checking the file-system. After investigating on the file-system, I noticed that many blobs were marked as deleted, however some were not!
It does seem like all files have been moved to the new blob store, but with such a large amount of files I may have overlooked some.
How can I be sure that all my data is actually moved? Do I really have to go through all files manually?
Also, why are the files that are marked as deleted not actually deleted? I am using the default settings on deletion (0 days?) and some files have been marked as deleted over a month ago!
