local hosted (docker) is not cleaned up.

It works on my side. I can not tell you exactly what you need to do in which order but there are multiple tasks which actually really free up the space you use.
First you need to delete or update some images.
In the settings → Tasks
Docker - Delete incomplete upload
Docker - Delete unused manifests and images
Admin - Cleanup unused asset blobs
Admin - Compact blob store (take the blob store used for docker registry)
