Like many here, I use a script to update to the latest Sonatype Nexus versions.
As of today, the URL https://download.sonatype.com/nexus/3/latest-unix.tar.gz redirects to https://sonatype-download.global.ssl.fastly.net/repository/downloads-prod-group/3/nexus-3.78.1-02-unix.tar.gz , but this then gives an error 404.
Is this a temporary error, or has the URL changed?

Hi, Robin,
Yes, the URL has changed. Visit our downloads page to grab new versions. The old latest-unix.tar.gz
link won’t be used any more, as download options have changed significantly in the last few versions.
Thanks for clarifying this, Jonathan!
It’s a tiny bit of a pity, as we now have to add an additional parameter to our update scripts for on premise installations. But well, life goes on.
@jzora Would it be possible to offer (a) replacement(s) for the original shorthand url?
Technically it’s just split into different archs, so offering following links could be the solution:

Hi, Lucas!
I can’t comment on the feasibility, but I’ll raise this issue the right people inside Sonatype.
